Dear Parent,
Thank you for choosing Tanasbourne Pediatrics!
At Tanasbourne Pediatrics, you’re more than just a patient. We strive to make lifelong connections with families, and stay active in the community. We are looking forward to meeting with you today. Quality pediatric care is essential in forming long-lasting healthy habits. We want to set your children on a path towards a fulfilling future.
Please feel free to call our office during regular office hours before you decide to go to the Urgent Care or the Emergency Department for nonlife threatening health issues. Let us know as soon as possible that your child received any care outside of the practice. This keeps our records up to date to give you the best care possible.
Tanasbourne Pediatrics follows the immunization guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our practice believes that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to these guidelines. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.
For your convenience, our office is open on Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (* closed for lunch from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm) and Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. To ensure a timely office visit, please complete all necessary paperwork before your visit. If you are unable to do so, please plan on arriving at our office at least 10 minutes before your visit to complete your forms in time for your appointment.
We are glad to have you join our practice.
Additional Information
Well Child Care
Seeing children and parents at regular intervals is important in maintaining your child’s health. As recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the following well child care schedule is recommended and encouraged.
2-5 days of age
2 weeks of age
4 weeks of age
2 months of age
4 months of age
6 months of age

Annual visits (3-18 years of age)
During some of these visits, immunizations will be given, and routine laboratory tests may be done. We encourage advance scheduling of well child care so that you may have your preferred choice of time and day.
Sick Child Care
We will see sick children on the same day whenever possible. Please call to make an appointment as walk-in style appointments are not encouraged and may not be possible. Please let us know if you suspect that your child has a highly contagious illness such as COVID, and we will give you further instructions on how to enter the clinic.
Appointment times for sick visits typically are shorter than well visits.
Mask Policy
In order to keep our patients in common areas safe, and our staff healthy, patients and/or family members over the age of 2 years with any of the following symptoms will be required to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose at all times while in our office.
• Fever
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Eye redness or discharge
• Runny nose
• Chills
• Body Aches
We appreciate your help keeping everyone healthy! 🙂
After Hours Care
When our office is closed, the answering service will respond to calls directed to our office. The answering service will contact the doctor on call or an experienced nurse from Randall Pediatric Hospital who will return your call. Please call 911 if you have a true emergency. If your call is urgent, let the answering service know and they will attempt to call the physician immediately. For non-urgent calls, expect a return call in about an hour.
